The Federal Reserve did not make an interest rate change after two days of meetings. The federal funds rate remains the same. Mortgage rates have inched higher recently because of the fear of inflation. Currently a 30 year fixed rate mortgage for borrowers with good credit and equity is 6.375% with no points if you apply this week. Not all will qualify.
