Winter is the best time to buy a home
The crowds shop for homes in the Spring and Summer in Northern climates like the Milwaukee area. Now is a better time to buy because there are fewer buyers. This means you save money on your purchase. There is less competition. In Spring there may be multiple offers on a single property. In Fall and Winter, often times, there still are multiple offers however there are fewer buyers trudging through the snow to look at homes. Your offer may look sweeter to the seller in the Winter.
